About Kevin

21 years here. Finance by trade. Independent.

I moved to Chilliwack 21 years ago when I married my wife, who's called it home since she was a baby. We raised our family here and never seriously thought about leaving.

I'm a finance manager. I read the documents, and when something doesn't add up, I say so — then I keep working with the people I disagreed with.

Municipal work is practical. Roads, sewers, infrastructure, where the next subdivision goes. This council has been able to disagree at the table and still get things done. That culture matters, and with the turnover coming this year, it's about to be tested. I want to help hold it together.

What I'd work on

01

Growth that works, and housing people can afford.

We need the homes. The job is planning the infrastructure properly so growth doesn't outrun what serves it.

02

Trails, and the people who build them.

A network that crosses every boundary in the valley, built by more hands than the city's alone.

03

Working with the province, not around it.

Quietly picking up provincial costs doesn't get us anywhere. Close relationships and specific asks do.

Chilliwack doesn't stop at its own boundaries. All three of these are about working across them.
