Over two decades in Chilliwack. And a people-first finance professional.
I moved to Chilliwack from Langley to begin married life. Chilliwack’s affordability was a major draw then, but it was the natural surroundings and sense of community that kept us here. We’ve moved through five different neighbourhoods and found things to love in each and every one.
I'm a finance manager. Numbers make sense to me. But I’ve learned that nothing feels better than working with people and finding a path forward together.
Municipal work is practical. Roads, sewers, infrastructure, and where the next subdivision goes. This council has been able to disagree with each other and continue to get things done. I will be a good addition to that dynamic: able to notice the details that matter and then move forward together.

What I plan to work on …
An affordable Chilliwack that grows sustainably.
Chilliwack has a provincial mandate to build homes. The challenge is affordably building infrastructure that keeps up.
Trails, and the people who build them.
A network that crosses every boundary in the valley, built by more hands than the city's alone.
Working with the province, not around it.
Quietly picking up provincial costs doesn't get us anywhere. Close relationships and specific asks do.
